Rating by category:
Friendly efficient staff, good quality room, great breakfast, good value for money at least on a late weekend deal as we had.
From the outside it's one of the most hideous buildings in an area of Preston blighted by such, and not the easiest place in the world to get to on foot
Comfortable.helpful friendly staff Restaurant quite good although quiet at dinnertime reflects in food preparation and presentation.Visit Preston to see family very convenient for this as I do not need to hire a car
Grim location when is anything going to happen to improve Preston the bus station end feels quite threatening to walk through at night. No WIfi could not use IPad or any non plug in laptop.Strong smell of smoking all the time, the room smelt of stale cigarettes
The service at all times was professional and helpful
unfortunately, there was a disturbance which prevented us from having a peaceful nights rest.
The staff were extremely friendly, the room's were comfortable and extremely clean, the shower was so hot it was fantastic.
Central location and residents lounge
Handy for the Guildhall and centre
Kindness of the staff. Good location. Cleaness of the room. Price.
Breakfast could be a little improoved. Parking a bit small.
Friendly helpful receptionist, generally good breakfast with friendly staff, comfortable room
stewed tea at breakfast, hard fried eggs, stale pastries
Different choice of pillows, comfortable bed.
The common areas smelt heavily of Febreeze. Car park was very small
The two women on reception on Saturday afternoon when we checked in were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a map of the centre and explained our route into the centre. They were the friendliest hotel reception staff we have come across in a long time.Thank you
Convenient to family who was visiting.
the fact i had no stress! i parked up checked in an 2 mins away from whatever i wanted!
no not at all
upon arrival, female receptionist said that i had booked room only when i had booked a double room with breakfast. she quickly did something on the computer then said what times breakfast was. then upon arrival in the room it was a twin room. i went to sort this out at reception and she said , well thats what you booked. i did not book a twin room. she said that that was all they had left. i booked a double room with breakfast. i only got a twin room with breakfast.
reception staff upon arrival.
friendliness and personal attention. felt very welcome. Went to make an early morning cup of tea to discover no lead for my kettle, i phoned reception and a pot of tea was with me in 5 mins
From the moment we arrived the reception staff were lovely. We had booked in due to the fact we were taking daughter to University. THe staff recomended somewhere to eat and drink. The room was very comfortable and fantastic that we could regulate the heat/ coolness of our room. Breakfast was very nice and very reasonably priced. The only complaint that I had was my coffee was too strong (for me anyway). We most definately will be staying again as will be spending lots of time in preston visiting my daughter.
